Trese Illustration
I did this illustration for Trese, a horror/crime comic book series created by Budjette Tan & Kajo Baldisimo. I've been telling Budj before that I plan to contribute some pinup illustrations for Trese, but it never happened.
The idea I had for the look and feel of the illustration was to use the old Japanese Horror flick color scheme. Even Trese's (the girl at the middle) look is borrowed from the Major Kusanagi doll (Ghost in a Shell: Innocence). Finally, I embedded a layer of film complete with dust and scratches over the main illustration.
