My submission for Alex Griendling’s Raygun Project: The Jackpot. The gun was inspired by Setzer Gabbiani’s (of Final Fantasy VI) ability called Slots.

—-
The newest gun from Neue Vegas: THE JACKPOT.

It’s easy to use:
1. Crank the lever
2. Wait for the reels to stop
3. Pull the tigger to fire

Take a chance in life. Order yours now.

One of the experimental sculptural pieces I made for a show at Gallery 1988 Melrose. Instead of doing an illustration print, I decided to play with wood and stainless wires.

FAT NINJA. For the "Is This Thing On" exhibit, the comedian assigned to me was Chris Farley. One of my favorite movies when I was a kid was "Beverly Hills Ninja", so I decied to make a fat ninja.

This came from "The Boredom folder", a place where I usually put illustrations I make when on a break or when I'm just, well... bored.

1. Hiruzen Sarutobi. The Professor. Probably the strongest Hokage of Konoha, Jiraiya's sensei. Sarutobi can summon & transform Enma, the Monkey King into an Adamantine Staff.
He was Jiraiya's Sensei.

PRINT AVAILABLE HERE

2. Jiraiya performing Rasengan. Based on "The Tale of the Utterly Gutsy Ninja". :) Jiraiya is my favorite character in the Narutoverse, so I just had to illustrate him.
He was Minato's Sensei who later became Naruto's Sensei as well.

PRINT AVAILABLE HERE

3. Minato Namikaze. Naruto's Dad and Jiraiya's pupil. Minato was the 4th Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village, he was also known as "The Yellow Flash". One of his popular techniques was the "Flying Thunder God Technique", which allows him to teleport to the place where his kunai lands.
He was Kakashi's Sensei, Naruto's Dad.

PRINT AVAILABLE HERE

4. Hatake Kakashi. The student of Minato Namikaze. Popularly known in the ninja world as the "Copy Ninja". Kamui is Kakashi's original dōjutsu, released from the Mangekyō Sharingan, that allows one to transfer anything to another dimension.
He was Naruto's Sensei.

PRINT AVAILABLE HERE

The idea was to create a shirt design/illustration using statements such as Nerdy but Sexy, Selosa (Jealous) but Sexy, Shy but Sexy & Can't Dance but Sexy. A commissioned work by Century through PC&V.

I made double-image illustrations that described the statements in a witty manner.

1. Selosa (Jealous) but Sexy - Binoculars/bike & a Love Triangle
2. Nerdy but Sexy - Fusion of a nerd & a strongman
3. Shy but Sexy - Fingers that look like hair bangs covering her face.

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/0/5395/1857262/Selosa1.jpg" border="0" width="670" height="867" width_o="1224" height_o="1584" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/0/5395/1857262/Selosa1_o.jpg" align="left" data-mid="9181807" /> <img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/0/5395/1857262/Nerdy1.jpg" border="0" width="670" height="867" width_o="1224" height_o="1584" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/0/5395/1857262/Nerdy1_o.jpg" align="left" data-mid="9181801" /> <img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/0/5395/1857262/Shy1.jpg" border="0" width="670" height="867" width_o="1224" height_o="1584" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/0/5395/1857262/Shy1_o.jpg" align="left" data-mid="9181813" />

One of the alternate covers of Numberline Record's Volume 2 Compilation. I just played with the idea of a skydiver dressed like Sta. Claus (this was released last December) turning up the volume and getting blown away.

His headphones also function like a visor. The helmet, as with most of the other helmets I do are based on Johann Kraus' helmet.

A Philippine map I made last January for Sea Expo's magazine - Navigator. I stylized the map with geometric waves, a bit of how Manansala would treat his surfaces & backgrounds.

I also did the layout and played with the title a bit. :) It was fun.

I did a couple of illustrations for the companion app of Mass Effect 3 -- The Final Hours by Geoff Keighley. It was a pretty neat project since I was a big fan of the Mass Effect franchise. In this particular illustration, I had the gang grouped together as if waiting for the incoming Reapers. The pose is reminiscent of the manga character group pose. :)

You can download it for your iPad at the App Store.

An illustration I made for Rogue's article about their Games of the Year picks. The idea was to put familiar characters & elements of the games in the illustration. So for this one I had Cole Phelps (LA Noire) & Batman (Arkham City) investigating a teleportation hole (Portal).

1. The Moons of the Solar System. An infographic I made for Visual News’ Data Design section. The brief was to create a Bubble Chart. The subject was open so I decided to make a size comparison chart of the different moons in the Solar System. Why the moons? Well, it’s because I was born on the same day (not the year) as the Moon Landing. :)

2. Diagram / illustrations I made for GOOD's Winter issue. This was actually my first time to make a diagram / infographic, so I was a bit nervous at first. I was glad it came out well. The article by Zak Stone was really good, I learned a lot from it.

You may read the article here.

A self portrait I did for a magazine feature last November 2009. I kind of mixed the stuff I liked doing in one figure. I took inspiration from constellations, game bosses and connections when I was illustrating it. For people who play World of Warcfrat, the illustration has a Yogg-Saron meets Algalon feel in it.
